I'm actually surprised how little difference there was between the static and vibrating. I'd like to see some samples where the difference is highlighted... probably shows more on larger areas of solid colour.
Love the video. I would very much like to have 1 of your adapters but could you explaine to me the difference between Twoneil HD static and the fibrating one ( why does it fibrate) and wich one did you use in this video?
Plus i have a panasonic hdc-sd5 wit a leica 37mm f=3.0- 30mm 1:1:8 or whatever that means (i no NOOB) but will it work with your adapters?
The difference between the static and vibrate adapters has to do with the graininess one sees in the image. These adapters work by projecting the 35 mm lens image onto a ground glass screen inside the adapter. The video camera's built-in lens is then focused on the ground glass. The graininess of the ground glass can be seen by the video camera; however, if you vibrate the screen, the graininess is no longer visible. Of course, the image remains stable since it is projected in space, onto the screen. Although dust on the screen is also diminished, the main purpose of vibrating is to nearly eliminate the grain. You have to look carefully to see the grain but once you see it, it can be annoying. You should be aware the some other vibrating adapters cost well over $1,000. Are they any better? I do not know, so maybe someone who does will chime in. I do know that this is a good deal.
Finally! I got my TwoNeil HD Static and TwoNeil Plus!
So far not used to the upside down images and a lot of experimenting with the controls with my HV30 settings.
Can anyone one post me their usual settings when shooting for indoor and outdoor and various scenarios please! Coz I tried to used one setting to the other but the exposure etc lighting thingy gets me confused.
Especially in low light situations (I can't afford extra lighting right now : ( )
When you use The HV30 with the adapter do you auto expose with the adapter on then lock the exposure and never touch it again. How do you handle the exposure with an adapter attached, is what I'm asking?
keep up the hard work, and start a buisness with employees!
I understand that your TwoneilPlus+ feature (a high quality achromat, I'm guessing) can be purchased with the static or vibrating adapter.
Question - Is the TwoneilPlus+ footage in the clip with the static adapter or the vibrating adapter?
But the best combination (considering $$$ & value) is:
TwoneilHD static + TwoneilPlus
twoneil PLUs is wider!
I didnt see a difference or dust on the STATIC or the vibrating...
Why do you Need the vibrating???? if you just keep the adapter clean...

If so, would love to have one
Hope 2 hear from you soon..
