Don't get me wrong, it's funny when you call Amir out on stuff, but it's funnier if it's in a more friendly way I guess. In a "Yeah you can be dumb sometimes, okay most of the time, but i don't completely hate you" way.

Don't worry guys. Jake is engaging in a Freudian defense mechanism called 'reaction formation', the expression of the exact opposite of the authentic emotion.

This protects Jake's ego, and prevents him from the vulnerability that comes with admitting feelings of love or admiration.

ALSO

Jake has found a coping strategy that maintains Amir's persistence in contacting him. Were he to welcome Amir's attention, Amir may no longer give it so persistently, which would hurt Jake. By fronting an attitude of distaste and annoyance, however, Jake has found a way to keep Amir's attention.

Amir!! If you're listening... you need to stop your consistent reinforcement of Jake's behavior in order to receive his attention again. Perhaps by ignoring him you'll be able to rekindle the mutual affection of previous videos.

We actually have a deleted scene where we accounted for that when I say that I lost/dropped my iPhone. But it was lost because this one was already pretty long.

Most people probably don't realize these videos all start out being 15-20 minutes long and we just edit them down...
