*This is a fan-made music video for the song Summer Skin by Death Cab For Cutie. It's a response to all of the other Summer Skin videos I've seen. By no means do I own any parts of this song. The video part is 100% created by me. Please Like =D*

Remastered in high definition.

There's a mis-sync with the instruments on some parts. The computer I was using at the time was lagging terrible and it was nearly impossible to catch them all. Thank you to all the people who helped view this during pre-screening and adding your opinions and suggestions to the final video. Enjoy!

You managed to represent the range of friendship and intimacy and later the loss and nostalgia that are themes of the lyric, but it is all tempered with the ‘lazy’, ‘hazy’ ennui of summertime. The use of natural sunlight, with all that sunshine glowing on peoples’ faces and hair reinforces the warmth between the two. At the end, when the guy is alone on the swing, the sky has storm clouds in the distance; I feel like it’s the approach of regret, and the inevitable feelings of loss that predominate the song. There is a nice subtle ending and in fact the entire video shows real care and sensitivity for the song lyrics. I think this is brilliant work. Well done.
