9. Sony HXR-MC1 Test rides
We took the new Sony HXR-MC1 out for a test spin on ATVs, mountain bikes, and skydiving to see how well it would perform in very cold weather, wet weather, bumpy roads and bumpy rides. It did great, never skipping a beat.
We offer a 90 minute training DVD coming up for this small POV marvel made for the indy filmmaker that needs small sizes, broadcasters that need small profiles, and action-sports enthusiasts and shooters that need a small profile recording system.

Looks great! Any ERS issues that were more readily apparent with the raw footage? I can't see too much of it.

I've been watching BH Photo and Markertek diligently. Motorcycle riding season is rapidly approaching.

Word is mid-February release to the public, $1700-$2000 depending on where you buy it (PAL version for Europe, NTSC for USA).

For skydiving which HD wide adapter would you recommend for the Sony HXR-MC1. I am currently using the Raynox HD 5050 Pro on my Sony A1 & HC5 camcorders. Also how does the MC1 video edit in Sony Vegas ?
  •
  • MC1 edits great in Vegas. I like the Raynox for inside skydiving, the Century for outside...
