Video material collected June 2011 by Lexie Mountain in Truro, MA at the beach at the end of Great Hollow Rd. While erosion's effects are gradual and constant, large portions of the Cape Cod bay's shore have been redesigned by storms and the architecture of the beaches here have changed markedly in the past decade. Moodswing tides, irresponsible human interaction and radical weather are whittling away at the Cape's fragile albeit mutable existence. I love these beaches and they are disappearing faster than anyone thought possible.
