As a follow up to the Tracking & Green Screen tutorial (vimeo.com/25079185), I wanted to show you how to interpret your footage to ensure that it is in the correct aspect ratio.
In this short quick tip video, I'll discuss how to access the Interpret Footage settings so that you can make sure that your image sequence is at the right frame rate, whether it's correctly set up for progressive or interlaced footage (depending on your footage), and how to change the aspect ratio to make sure your footage isn't squashed or stretched.
This was not covered in the Tracking & Green Screen tutorial as I wanted to just focus on the methods of tracking, and giving this topic it's own video to save you having to load and scrub through a long video file just to find the section that is relevant to this issue.
If you have already created your composition before interpreting your footage, make sure that you update the composition settings to match the new aspect ratio.
