Through a series of executive-level stakeholder meetings, prioritization exercises, and successive rounds of user testing, Behavior redesigned the home page, section landing pages, and primary navigation of Businessweek.com.

We presented business news readers with a diverse selection of creative concepts for the home page, each conveying a sense of timeliness and increased pace over the existing approach. A second round of testing let us fine-tune the messaging further, combining aspects of a data-centric approach with an emphasis on the depth of BusinessWeek’s coverage.

This project also provided the opportunity to update the main editorial website’s primary navigation with links to the Business Exchange, a topic-based social news and information initiative Behavior designed in collaboration with BusinessWeek’s technology, editorial, and business staff.
