I was producing in this medium from the mid 1970s through the early 1990s. It consisted of multiple projectors, programmed to dissolve between each other to create live montages. Typically I would use an 18-21 projector grid with six on each side and six to nine projectors overlayed in the center screen area. In some shows, I would add a video projector to the center array.
Special effects were done in an optical film camera... I used a Marron Carrel pin registered camera to create multiple exposures or reductions on 35mm film.
This particular production was done for NYNEX and was staged in the World Trade Center in New York in the Mid 1980s. It was done for a mid year sales rally. I wrote the copy, shot the photos, did the graphics, directed the narrator and the programming... I also was the tech director on the staging of the event.
