Here's a little taste of what it was like to attend the Blip Festival in Brooklyn on Friday, December 5, and Sunday, December 7. The performers featured here are:

I thought my Canon HV20 performed really well here, considering the low light. For most shots I forced it into a shutter speed of 24 (the camera would have defaulted to less, producing streaky shots like the outdoor shot of my friend Jeff), and although there's a ton of gain, I think it looks pretty nice.

I also used a Rode Videomic, which is a huge improvement over the builtin one.
