W-BASE, a Tokyo bike shop, had it's 4th anniversary last week and the night after their party, they, with the help of the TAG crew, threw a fixed-gear trick competition in Meiji Koen, Tokyo. Keo came from The States and won the event with seemingly little effort.

not being a dick, just observant.
Looks like a lot of fun. Who's the girl? She's got skills!
Don't deny being a dick. Embrace it. ...And just remember that it just so happens that being observant often makes you a dick in the public eye. Especially on the internet.
And if I had only watched this video, I'd have to agree with you... but I was there and saw all the other tricks guys tried. The problem is, they didn't land any of them, so I didn't include them in my video. Many more tricks were attempted. You're just seeing the tricks guys have gotten good at.
Prolly,
That's one of the beautiful things about Tokyo. The police are nice. Like, really nice. Well, almost always. We never really have problems with the police. Just a problem with people calling the police. But, when they arrive, we usually have a nice chat and they go on their way. You see, most of them don't have patrol cars, they have these crappy patrol bicycles, so maybe they can empathize with us or something.
The girl is Saori-chan. She's sweet, cute and skilled and getting better fast. Her blog: saori830.jugem.jp/
In retrospect my comment could have been a lot more constructive rather than negi/neutral.
haha I'll leave my comment there so that your comment still makes sense.
Here are my followup thoughts then:
REALLY good to see so many up and comers! Looks like a lot of people have some tech concepts on LOCK, it'll be great to watch as their repertoires expand and their consistency increases.
One thing Japan has is enthusiasm and support and that will take them so far.
I'm very impressed by several of the riders, it's almost intimidating to see the intensity they're bringing to this!
I need to go practice!
if you listen to the song, they mention who they are several times. but, it's Afrika Bambaataa's "Bronx Version" of Jazzy Sensation by Soul Sonic Force. Basically it's the really long "extended mix".
And why would you need a smaller frame?
Those are some pretty serious generalizations there, dude.
Please be careful with such words as "they" and "we".
Sounds a bit too much like "us" vs. "them".
Think Globally, Act locally, bro.
Let's just have one big "US" and "WE". We can let the "THEM" be a-hole taxi drivers, people who double park in bike lanes and OFFicer Patrick Pogan of the NYPD.
Sorry for being a hippie, but there's so much hating on the internet that even nice comments like yours can easily me misconstrued as separatist. Words on the internet are there for all to see, so careful how you choose/use them. But, don't worry about your spelling.
How you doin' Mark? Long time no see.
sucks
Not quite "taco-ed", but pretty bent out of shape. Yet, he's a bad @ss, so he was riding tricks with his wheel like that all night.
