Each of the suspended "balls" represent a node from the mur.at network in Graz.

They move according to network activity at nodes within the city in real time, the strength of activity magnetising bolts over which the "balls" hover.

Additional devices suspended within each caged ball rattle, trigger processes as they move, collide into each other.
