Audiovisual works intended to introduce the guest artists at the OFFF Barcelona 2011 edition, on the second day of the festival, at "Bis" conferences space. Based on the festival’s theme “Year Zero”, these videos put special emphasis on narrative and how to express through a story the idea of going back to moment zero, the alpha moment, the time at which begins a story, a fact, an event. They are a series of 7 micro tales that build a bigger story told as a diary, where each short story happens in a day of the week, starting on a Thursday and ending on a Friday but backwards, ie in reverse. Each shot is played backwards, all the sequences are edited backwards and the days of the week are going backwards. Each image, each shot, each story tends to reach the alpha point of the story at time zero, where everything begins. Yet you get a linear development of the story making it understandable to move and advance. It’s an exercise in form and substance which plays with the concept of time, the relationship between cause and effect.
