Ok, I know we just released a longboard documentary, but because its Christmas, I'm releasing another longboard movie because the Christmas season has got the best of me. This was filmed in summer of 2007 and edited over the last year. The video is already slightly outdated, but its high time we had an online premiere.
Thom, Gurpy and I went out longboarding basically all summer. The video was shot in Alberta and Saskatchewan - in Alberta we rode in Calgary and Kananaskis Country, and in Saskatchewan we rode in Lumsden and Saskatoon. The Saskatchewan section was shot by film students at the U of R on a 16mm Bolex camera. The rest was shot on a Panasonic mini-dv camera (that camera is no longer with us, due to an unfortunate meeting with a semi-truck near Kimberley, BC). We had a super time shooting this, and we hope you enjoy.
