A little test I made using the new blurfix against a stock gopro housing.
This shows the much improved focus using the Blurfix flat glass lens vs the round gopro stock housing. It also shows the minimal vignetting which is only seen in r4 and photo modes. With this fix they are still both very useable and all other modes are perfect and its the best single camera flat fix currently available for purchase IMHO.
The eyeofmine housing which I have used in most of my other videos is the closest competitor to this, but the screw in glass filter design gives blurfix the advantage. The glass filter is easily cleaned on both sides and if it were to get scratched or damaged it can be easily replaced without ruining the entire housing. It also gives the option of using other 55mm screw in filters underwater and on land to give more options with the gopro camera. It can also be used with no filter and it will then work as a standard gopro housing if needed.
This was tested at a depth of 5.2m at a water temp of 12c
All modes are shown in full resolution except photo is shrunk to fit the 1080p frame.
