If you like this subscribe to Mike's YouTube channel.... he would be thrilled!
We shot this with the Canon 7D, with a 50mm 1.4 lens. For the audio we used the Zoom H4N in 4CH mode, with an XLR mic and the built in microphones. Mike wanted to capture the ambient sound of the room so we blended the Canon 7D audio and the Zoom H4N so that it has a "raw" sound. Unfortunately the keyboard we had to use wasn't top notch, so that's why the sound on that is kind of weak.
For editing we used Adobe Premeire Pro CS5 with Magic Bullet Looks for the color treatment. If you don't have the Magic Bullet Suite.... Get it.... And if you are a Final Cut editor, you should seriously give Adobe Premeire Pro CS5 a try, because I switched over in January and I'm never going back. Primarily because Adobe Premeire Pro works wonderfully with Adobe After Effects CS5 without having to render out a file.
Finally, if you've ever wondered what the easiest way to sync up multiple video sources and audio sources, you need to look into a program called Pluraleyes it lines up all of your clips automatically. Seriously for the cost of only about $100 or so bucks, Pluraleyes is a great, great, great investment.
