very hard to watch. But beautifully done. My uncle had terminal cancer and was suffering a lot, wished for assisted death but could not get it. I agree it should be one´s own descision when and how to end one´s life, but at the same time I agree it is a complicated thing. So well done, Terry Pratchett, and I wish he will be able to write his wonderful books many more years to come!

An extraordinarily sober insight. It leaves me feeling emotionally torn, but also certain that it's a right that cannot be ignored. Thank you, Terry Pratchett.

I was really impressed with the quality of how this issue was presented. As a whole the video was very powerful and moving.

I love Terry as an author, I would fear losing my own mind, I can't really comprehend the creeping decline he is experiencing.

His assistant looked somewhat unconvinced about the whole thing.

I think a huge consideration is how well you can keep your wits about you. That one man in the hospice still had the map of London in his head.

On the other hand, once Alzheimer's takes its toll you become a different person, you forget who you were. Are you unhappy then, does that new person want to die?
