Taylor Rudow and her Seabury Hall classmate and research partner Sage Trudeau present shark research they conducted at the Maui Ocean center, where, in the shark tank, they studied in the the auditory responses of sharks, and came up with some very interesting results. Thier discoveries will be published in a science journal this summer. Their presentation also helps clarify many common misconceptions about sharks, explains their place and importance in the ocean food chain and the risks to humanity if action is not taken soon to prevent their extinction from over-hunting.
