theCorner, the youth ministries community of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville Tennessee took to the city of New Orleans to help with Hurricane Katrina relief. 40 volunteers in mission, working on homes, gutting washed out houses, handing out food and supplies. we called this a pilgrimage too, finding out what the neighborhoods and culture were about. played basketball with the neighborhood kids and took in some of the stories and odd places.
