hahah. i think vimeo is displaying it a little skinnier than i want it to look. It is displaying kinda vertical which is the intention but it really should be more square. Like a polaroid.
No, I'm not Brazillian but have always been fascinated by the language. I love the calming textures of Portuguese when it sung or spoken. People can be pissed off in Portuguese and it still sounds, to me, calming. Hahha! I have no idea what I'm talking about but that's the extent of my experience with that language. Mainly in music and some films. Would love to learn it some day.
I have no idea what Elis is singing in the music. I would love to know. I pretty much just picked the music based on the mood it put me in, I then colored the photo according to that mood. I put the moving image on there because it seemed to fit. The rhythm of the leaves seemed to go so well with rhythm of her words.
the music is fotografia | Antonio Carlos Jobim & Elis Regina
hope to make a few more soon.

Well, that is what the song says:
btw it is a Tom Jobim song, this version by Elis Regina.
"Eu, você, nós dois Aqui neste terraço à beira-mar O sol já vai caindo e o seu olhar Parece acompanhar a cor do mar"
"Me, you, us both
Here at this terrace by the sea
The sun goes down and your look
Seems to follow the color of the sea"
