It's my 2nd time in Ifugao, to which the majesty of its place and sceneries i really adore. Surrounding with communities of people smiling as you pass by. And where culture is preserved as rich as the gods.
My group have made friends to some local residents, in the names of: Mommy Alice (owner of Hidden Valley Restaurant) and Kuya Miguel (our driver). Even though its been a year since we last met each other, they still recognize our faces as if we just met yesterday. All the more, these people didn't know some of our names, but to how they treat us may seemed hospitality was really the virtue.
Fast forward to the climb, me and my group suffered different experiences. But we still conquered ourselves and reached the summit. The scenery was not that superb, though the camaraderie of everyone and surpassing the hardships of this climb made it all worth.
I deeply tried to document as much as i could the moments of this journey. Those moments went through because of too much exhaustion and low-driven spirit. But as i capture a little of those people i came along with, the video indeed became alive. A life that acquired through all that surrounds me. And as for now, let me say: 'may this always be my love'...
* to Sandugo Tramping Club, happy 1st anniversary. Hope to meet and climb with you again. Kudos!
