This demonstration covers creating using MS Excel to interact with the Team Foundation Server (TFS) OLAP cube (called TFS Warehouse). In particular, it demonstrates how to hook Excel 2007 up to the cube, create a pivot table of work item states over a date period, and show the resulting data in a Pivot Chart. The chart provides a very clean Cumulative Flow diagram, that can help project managers and other managers determine the location of bottlenecks (constraints) in their software development process.
