This film was made to go in with an exhibition of paintings by David Cox. David makes paintings based on jamaican dub records and wanted a 'version' of his work remixed into a film. We decided to make all the effects optically and organically and so David made mobiles and objects that we could animate, sometimes using a record player to drive the actions.
