i had chickents and a rooster that woke me up every morning whether i wanted to get up or not. roosters are relentless!

my chickens were really tame. they would let oyu pick them up, and every morning we would pick up fresh eggs!

Yeah man once in a while we'll be driving through a neighborhood and we'll see chickens just running in the street. If we didn't have a "bird dog" we'd love to get chickens. Otis freaks out!

Are you serious about wanting chickens? Fate handed me a little baby chick last night and I don't know what to do with it. I want to keep it... we've bonded (awww) but I can't. Ben & I are taking a trip up to Portland in a week or two and this chicken is yours if you want it. I don't know if it's male or female but I think it will be a nice addition to your garden. Maybe it's a female and will provide you with some fresh eggs! If you can't take it, maybe you know some nice people who will.. some nice people who will take care of it and won't want to eat it.
