A visualisation of the sources of articles within MEDLINE in a given year, using the WebGL Globe (chromeexperiments.com/globe)
This was done as part of the JISC-funded Open Bibliography project (openbiblio.net).
The visualisation itself can be found at benosteen.com/globe but requires a WebGL compatible browser, such as a recent version of Google Chrome.
