The video-installation by Andrey Ustinov, 2007. My privat Refrigerator is my privat Television. The video "Refrigerator" is a part of a video-installation. Video is projected in the real size to a door of a refrigerator. The video-projector is located in one and a half meters from a projection. Therefore the spectator appears to be involved into the space of installation. Spectators can open and close a refrigerator and can become a screen themselves. Video have been filmed twice. The take which is two minutes long is divided into two parts - 1-minute each. And the second part has been finished shooting earlier, than the first. Thus the projection to the door of a refrigerator appears a minute earlier, than real action. The spectator sees the future action earlier, than the present. There is a question: what occurs before, and what after? Do we buy Coca-cola first, and then see it in the refrigerator? Or do we see coca-cola in a refrigerator (as in the TV) first, and then we buy?
