Lt Commander Robert C. Fults gets stick time in the old PT17. He gave primary flight instruction in the Navy in 1942 and 1943 in this plane. He had quit flying in 1946 when he left the Navy. In May 2011, at the age of 91, he reconnected with the PT17 on a glorious north Texas spring day.
