    I agree completely, Derek.
    Unfortunately, from my past experience in the workplace, the unjustifiably penalised majority are often not so good at standing up and saying "I'm not responsible for this", for fear of singling themselves out as a "goody two shoes".

    This is the best one yet, I think. If only for the shoe example. Sadly, we can only dream now of the days of pre-9/11 travel when any kind of lock was accepted on your bag, when queuing for security only lasted 2 or 3 minutes and when you could still check 2 bags for free.
