Using a mixed-rule Game-of-Life to simulate conscious perception of music. The normal rule of the Game-of-Life interact with the rule of cells falling down from the top of the field depending on the band in a Fourier transform of the audio in this 1/25 of a second (frame-length). The falling speed is determined by the intensity of the respective band. The falling is stopped as soon as the cells falls into a region where there are more that two neighbors. In the first ten falling steps, the cell does not interact to avoid lumps at the top. Done in 150 lines of python. Music: Shocking Murray
