The Creative Services Summit was held at the Unicorn Theatre on the 26th March 2007. It was attended by over 300 local authority representatives and key people from the arts and creative sector.
In 2005 the London office of Arts Council England published a strategy for children, young people and the arts. We consulted a wide range of professionals and young people to find out exactly what they needed, and how best to work in partnership. As part of this process, we held a Creative Services Summit in 2007.
As a result we created our Creative Services programme, which is a range of projects across London designed to embed the arts and creativity within a borough’s provision for children and young people, their families and the workforce that supports them.
