Minnesota Artists for Equality

THIS VIDEO WAS ENTIRELY CREATED BY ARTIST VOLUNTEERS. From its conception and writing, to its performances, shooting, and editing, to the music you hear, all elements of this project are part of a widespread volunteer effort.

We are Minnesota Artists for Equality. We are a statewide collective of artists of every race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation and ability who volunteer their time and talents to the fight for equal rights in the state of Minnesota.

We do this by building an online database of artists of every discipline, partnering with with like-minded organizations who are in need of our Artist Volunteers' skills, creativity, and unique perspectives.

We will foster the creation of new art, with a positive message, by uniting Minnesota artists and connecting them.

Our first order of business is to help defeat the proposed anti-equality amendment scheduled for public vote in November 2012. If passed, this amendment will enshrine discrimination in the Minnesota constitution by defining marriage solely as the union of one man and one woman.
