Ira Edwards is a passionate skier, spending all his free time (and even a good bit of his work time as a State Park Ranger) on skis. Ira skied in the mountains of Alaska on his phat Tele and AT gear and on the trails with his skinny racing sticks. Ira was making a ski trail safer by removing leaning and hazard trees when he was crushed by one of them, resulting in Paralysis from the waist down. Ira is determined to ski again and the High Fives Foundation is helping him get ready for winter by way of a handcycle from Lasher Sport. Please join the High Fives Foundation in wishing Ira the best in his recovery and looking forward to another great winter. Look at Ira's blog, RoosterSkier.com for more info.
