Incredible Tucson Thunderstorm Timelapse
Tucson is one of the many cities that claims to be the lightning capital of the world. After watching and filming this storm I have to say it is a justifiable claim! This came after a week chasing storms in both Arizona and Florida and was the highlight of the trip. The lightning was continuous for about an hour. Every year during the monsoon season severe thunderstorms are common across much of Arizona.

David Hervig 1 year agoBeautiful...I love watching these storms, as I live just south of Tampa, Florida. Question: Why wasnt the sky completely black...anyway to fix this? Keep up the great work...PS I want your camera...I am saving my pennies -
Ingenious TV 1 year agoThe sky is not completely black as the cloud base of the thunderstorm is quite low. The low clouds are being lit by the city lights below. -

10 months ago Great time lapse. I love shooting Florida lightning time lapses, but I heard and have seen like in the above video the Southwest is a must to chase in the late summer for vivid lightning. -
