The FIRST robotics competiton is a rocking nationwide event that is not for nerds, it's a creative jam session, a computer,mechanical,mathmatics, and industrial design mind meld set up like a sporting event. This is an introduction for short documentary on the Kauai Robotics team and the regional competition held in Oahu Hawaii in March 2011. There are international participants as well. In Hawaii alone over 36 teams competed. The Kauai team is unique in that it's composed of four different High Schools from the island; often rivals in other sporting events they come together to form a solid robotics team.
