This is another simulation with the generalised Morse potential, this time using a regular triangulation to detect next-neighbours. Here we see a block of particles relaxing towards their equilibrium shape. The right and left boundaries are constrained to planes, so the closest to equilibrium that can be acheived is a cylindrical shape. This simulation was run in parallel on two processors on my laptop.
