    This is beautiful work! I heard someone claim it was a commentary on how abused/molested children often grow up to be abusers. The man who had his childhood stolen by the monster becomes the monster. After hearing this, the story (not to mention the gorgeous artwork and animation) seems that much more clever to me.

    But doesn't he normally eat the bodies? How the the protagonist come about being severed but both parts intact? Or was Mr. Greedy licking his fingers for another reason?
