In-frickin'-credible. Dunno why, but with that soundtrack and muted colours it has a bit of a 1970's B-movie feel to it. Love it!

    Good LORD.

Fantasssstic job on this. I totally totally loved the setup/mood in the first half. Very strong. You have a ton of great shots, and the color grading is well suited for the piece.

What an amazing piece of video we have here. Well done sir! I applaud your efforts! Continue doing what you're doing because you very well showcased drifting on a professional and personal standpoint for some people.

    Cheers

Really enjoyed it. IMO this is how a drifting event should be covered. I also noticed how the sponsors logos were promoted in the beginning of the vid. This is the business side that is often ignored and more attention should be paid to it for obvious reasons. Think about it, over 25k views. Nothing can compare to video marketing. How much will an advertiser have to spend on banners, forums and more for that type of exposure?

Hey Hey, Great piece - what's the effect you're using to cause the light to blast and stretch up like that??
  •
  • kai @8pixels 7 months ago
Your concept, edit and above all, your camera technique is super awesome. All your shots are unbelievable steady for handheld, especially for a long day shoot.

I'm also curious to know whats the filter effect for the lights to stretch, called to?

Btw, i did a FD Asia Singapore 2011 event video too, its different and nothing compared to yours, do hope you will take a look and feedback is greatly appreciated. :)
