The auto-giffer is three small applications working together:
1) A processing app looks for motion, which causes it to save out sets of frames.
2) A python app looks for sets of frames and converts them into animated gifs using ImageMagick.
3) A PHP webpage looks for animated gifs and displays the 64 latest images available.

Talking with Andrew and Nate last weekend got me interested in putting this thing together. We used it as a weird photobooth for the SF Barbarian party; this is the result seasonsawesome.sansumbrella.com/
