Submission to Cinema Out of Your Backpack
The story is about two normal guys (Terry and Michael) who one day after work run into a woman being assaulted. Instinctively they react and rush in to help her. (NOT THE SITUATIONDEPICTED IN THIS SCENE) The robber is taken by surprise and the woman runs away during the situation. In reaction to their interference the robber gets out a gun. Immediately a struggle emerges over it. In the resulting struggle around is fired and the robber is killed. At first Terry and Michael are stricken and worried by the fact that they have killed somebody but the feeling of distraught is quickly replaced by a sense of righteousness. After the days go by the press glorifies the death of the robber who was a known scumbag. With no leads on the killers, and with no motivation to look into it from the police, Terry and Michael decide they could kill scumbags more often. Thus a new relationship emerges from the situation; Terry and Michael turn into vigilantes. Their personalities evolve as well as they dwell more and more into the world of being professional killers. This three minute short is a scene from one of their hits where they unexpectedly run into an innocent bystander.
