Thank you! I hope to see them myself some time soon too... Oslo, where I live, is usually too far south to see the aurora properly.

Incredibly good visualisation. Informative, educational and even entertaining :-) I thought I knew how auroras happen, but not in such precise detail. Thank you for sharing this with us!

The only part that puzzled me: how come Mercury, Venus and the Earth were on the same line? ;-)
  • Rumena Zlatkova 7 months ago
Also, very good music / soundscape. What did you use for the sound?

I'm happy you enjoyed the video. The planet alignment is a bit unusual, i agree. We discussed this a little when I was working on the scene, but agreed that it was okay to do it this way as it illustrates both the great distances between planets, and how the solar storm reacts differently with mercury and venus' weak magnetic fields compared to earths stronger magnetic field.

I composed the music in Cubase =)

Very informative and well animated. I especially loved the music. Is this music commercially available?
  • Per Byhring plus 7 months ago
I made the music especially for this video, so the songs only exist in the short versions you hear in the video. I haven't made them available anywhere else, but if you want I could upload the soundtrack without commentary for you
