Its been a long time I wanted to do a time lapse of the sky. Just a simple one, cause the different colors the sky takes before and after the twilight is something unique we often are too busy to look at.
So when I heard that after a very hot day in Belgium (36 degrees, the hottest in years) a storm was announced, I thought it could be the perfect moment to do it.
And I was lucky, want there were all these colors changes, and even a magical magenta sky I had never seen before, and that lasted not even ten minutes. Everyone here noticed this magical ephemeral moment...
Then, as announced, the storm simply came, violent and windy, and just put a stop point to this all.
For the song, I first tried Bach and his "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipzR9bhei_o), but it was more something that made me laugh, as it is a bit of an "end of the world song" for me... Then I tried with another song, a masterpiece of a Belgian artist called Squeaky Lobster. I didn't edit anything, but the song fits the video so well, and there are so many interesting coincidences, that I immediately thought : ok, this is the right one.
As far as the light is concerned, I didn't do any post production on it. As u see, the perspective aren't horizontal/vertical neither, as I just wanted it to be rough. Very rough.
That's it. Enjoy this video and look at it in HD !
