Like a faithful old valve radio this video warms up to reveal some of our colourful UK freshwater fish, and some rogue Crayfish intruders, descendants of escapees from the original Signal Crays which were primarily introduced to the UK by the food industry.

A return visit to the river Tern in Shropshire on 1st July 2011 proved well worth while with some outstanding results.

In all scenes the fish and crays are battling against strong currents. The cam sites are in close proximity to weirs, so not only is the water severely agitated it is also rich in oxygen.

A special thanks to fellow camera operative Gerald and Bill Newsinger, who's versatile and beautiful music adds so much to the video content.
