Just got my 5D Mark II few days ago....and tested it against my Canon HF 100 + DIY 35mm Adapter both with an Canon 135f2L@ f2

The light was just one Big softbox from above and on the 35mm Adapter film i need to crop a little bit

But the result is obvious...

The HF100 with an Adapter has a veryyyyy long DOF
with the 35mm Adapter the DOF is better but the Video is not so sharp...

by far the best is the 5D MK II neary no noise and superb sharpness and the DOF is again much better than with the Adapter i think this is the result of the Full frame sensor

sorry for the colors but im actualy a Photographer and need to learn Video lighting ;-)
