Orillo Outdoor Cinema 2011 - Watch out for Future events in York.

On Sunday the 26th of June Orillo hosted an Open Air Cinema in the beautiful settings of the Museum Gardens, York.

The Museum opened at 9 o'clock in the evening ready to screen one main feature film of YOUR choice, which was 500 Days of Summer. Seen on the widescreen and heard in 5.1 surround sound, it was just like being at the cinemas but built on the back drop of Museum Gardens very own medieval church!

We encouraged all you film-goers to wrap up warm, bringing blankets, deck chairs, even a picnic hamper full of tasty delights to ensure they had the best experience possible. But most cinema goers were seen sporting Shorts and T-shirt as it was a glorious evening. We offered a range of classic cinema snacks provided by local businesses, hand delivered by our glamorous popcorn girls.
