This is an example of some lighting ideas that I have been playing around with... that I had been going through some convoluted steps to get to, and am trying to back up, and use a different approach... which was accomplished through standard gl lighting, logic operation, and setting clear renders at strategic places. There is a sphere GLSL shader and some kineme3D used for object loading.
