The Internet Super Songs; PRECARIOUS, RACERS, 1987, 1988 - THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT, ROCK'S Godfathers of all things Grunge.
"For me to describe my experience with the Greenhouse Effect' says Clark Higgins..."It was simply the greatest band ever,..we had the greatest songs and we packed it all into a sweaty garage of high volume and emotion rock n roll style. Working with Phil Keegan was amazing...he really is one of the greatest most innovative guitarists of all time, and he deserves all the notoriety....more people are internet curious about him than they are of i!(Laughs) quips Higgins....
We had super talent and vision ,..even Rick Carmody learned the bass from scratch - and he became one of the South Bays greatest and most respected bassists...he played with his fingers - and not a pick !!
Our early years were always about great psychedelic songs which seemed to come from an Iron Butterfly type of place....
"Precarious' shoots out of the speakers like a muddy ejaculation,..we hit the listener with everything we had,..that one and later in may of 1990 'Waiting for your love to fail'.....'We were really perfectionists ,..but we were probobly more 'idealists'
