In the heart of Europe, anchored in Switzerland’s ancient Alps, the Cairn project: a center for the general public that is devoted to on-going geology and glaciology studies.
The center is located in Val d’Hérens in Valais, surrounded by a truly rare geological context. There visitors will be able to explore the history of the earth and its profound transformations through activities that combine knowledge and amusement, art and culture, the intelligence of discovery and the direct experience of the senses.
In keeping with the project’s outlook: a building that completely alters the codes and forms of contemporary architecture.
