I have seen a couple of "polygon-ish" things, and some clips lately that have "abstract living type things"...and it blended together and came out as this.
vimeo.com/tsaworks ... Did a cool polygonish rendering that caught my eye and looked like something I had achieved in mocking up the "lighting" example that I posted a couple of days back. Instead of using a 3D object, I used the Kineme Particle Tools with some GLSL shading to get the "funkiness" going... and used logic op for the transparent/shiny qualities. This is also inherently influenced by a bunch of MTV Australia movie awards clips that were posted up here, and just general impressions of stuff that I remember watching late night as a teen-ager on MTV when they had experimental video shows. A throwback, with some new ideas, thrown into the mental blender...
Thanks to tb again for the shadow concept.... These are glsl shaded kineme particles...."edit"- changed out the version after a few views to one with a little wireframe and some different blending.

Except that I think yours was created by "camera tracking" somehow? This was a "backward engineering" experiment, in Quartz Composer :o)
