A tribute to one of the most significant & stylish aircraft in history, the Boeing B307 Stratoliner. Also an exercise in seeing just how much I could abuse one HDR image by getting as many angles as possible ;)

    Love to see that old poster style in motion!
  •
  • Dee 7 months ago
    The movement is a little odd in spots based on my understanding of how a plane moves but it general a wonderful bit of work. Will you make another pass at it or are moving on to greater things?
  • Harriet Macdonald 7 months ago
    I thought it was twitching to the music?

    @Dee,

    The movements don't have to be perfect because it is a animation and they are not trying to mimic the real thing :)

    Really nice! Grat look!
  •
  • David Hendrix plus 7 months ago
    @dee @icebreaker; yeah, icebreaker said it but i was going for more stylized movements. I know the animation isn't perfect, but I'm improving everyday :)

    That was fun and very orginal. The B-307 was a great leap forward. There's one in Pan Am livery on display at the National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

    Cheers!

    Thanks Jamie! Very late on the reply... but I've been there many times! I have a lot of family from the D.C. area and we try to make it to the Smithsonian everytime we visit. Its beautiful up-close :)
