well hes got boxer's fracture styled reduction goin on. im guessing he tried to punch amir in the throat and hit a brick wall instead. the usual landing with your arm outstretched thing is more of a colles fracture and the reduction/cast set up has that basic gloved arm look, running like midpalm to a few inches from the elbow, or the ice cube tong looking splint. the boxer's fracture involves m/c the 5th metacarpal so thats why the last 2 fingers are incorporated into the reduction method. orthopedics isnt my scope tho, so thats just a stab in the dark. was i close, jake?
