When I was fishing the Pigeon River in the northern Lower Peninsula, I came upon possible wolf tracks. The only human tracks in the area were mine, so I don't think this remote area was a place where someone was simply taking big dog for a walk.
The paw prints were much too large to be coyote & sunk very deep into the sand of the river bank. At the end of the clip, note how far my tracks had sunk in compared to the final paw print - which was much deeper. This means the animal that left these tracks was very heavy.
